Geneva College’s Financial Aid Office is now providing a convenient and personal program to answer students’ questions about managing loan repayment. Throughout the fall and spring semesters, financial aid staff are available for 30-minute, individual loan appointments.
These one-on-one meetings cover loan repayment and budgeting. Students can learn the amount owed, receive information about monthly payments, explore tools to use for developing a budget, discuss ways to save money now and after graduation, and have their questions answered.
Geneva financial aid staff encourages students to take advantage of this unique opportunity to further understand and make better decisions when it comes to financial situations.
Steve Mattiace, Financial Aid Counselor, said, “The main thing is that these appointments will help students understand the financial cost of paying back their college loans and equip them to be prepared to find loan information, discover alternate payment plans, and to plan for repayment.”
Those who are interested in scheduling an individual loan appointment may contact the Financial Aid Office at 724.847.6530 or financialaid@geneva.edu.
